This project implements Windows Precision Touchpad Protocol for Apple MacBook family/Magic Trackpad 2 on Windows 10. One thing that I hope will come to the MBP in the future is getting rid of the optical drive and make the battery even bigger.Windows Precision Touchpad Implementation for Apple MacBook family/Magic Trackpad 2 In fact, I'd say it's worth paying the premium for it. You definitely want to get some sort of riser if you're going to be pushing your computer to the limits.Even with all those drawbacks, I still think this is the best laptop you can get is money was no object. I can understand if you have your computer on your bed it can get hot, but even when I have the MBP on a flat desk, it uncomfortably hot. Finally, the heat this thing generates is insane. I get more in the ball park of 4 hours, tops. The Engadget review reported 7 hour battery life, something that I've never came close to. Another thing that I noticed is that the battery life isn't as long as I've heard reported.

It would also be nice to have HDMI so that I wouldn't have to buy an adapter if I wanted to connect to a monitor that doesn't have displayport or to a TV. Though, there are some moments where I wish I had another USB port or two. I'm used to having laptops that have at least 4 USB ports, but when I'm at my desk, I have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, so that frees up some space. It's stuff like this where I really appreciate the fact that Apple decides to make the hardware and software. As for some of the things I don't like, the lack of ports is somewhat problematic. The gestures are really responsive and smooth, something I've never experienced on the Windows. The trackpad is huge so you have plenty of space to navigate around, but it's smart enough so that it doesn't pick up your palm movements when you're typing. As for the trackpad, I really think Apple perfected it. Blacks are a really deep black and you can really crank up the brightness. The screen quality is the best I've seen. My two favorite parts of the MBP are the screen and trackpad.

Everything about the computer feels solid and high quality. The Macbook Pro is my first Apple laptop that I've used extensively and coming from the world of PCs, I have to say that it's the best hardware I've ever experienced.
